Speed Up Your Computer
One of the most cost effective ways to speed up your slow computer is to add additional RAM – or memory – to your computer. The actual process is fairly simple. Check the documentation that came with your computer or go to the manufacturers website for the type of memory that is compatible to your computer and instructions on how to install the sticks of RAM.
You can also control what software and services boot up when Windows boots up. You do this by running the msconfig command. Click on Start and in the Run box type msconfig. Click on the tab “Start Up” to show what software runs in the background at boot.
Happy Computing!
